What can you do with this degree
The Critical & Cultural Communication concentration prepares students for careers in governmental agencies, foundations, nonprofit organizations, and public advocacy groups. This concentration is also a good option for those considering graduate or professional school. Dealing primarily with the rhetorical or persuasive interpretation of communication in political, societal, and cultural contexts, this concentration promotes critical reflection on the requirements of a more democratic culture by giving attention to subjects such as, but not limited to, class, race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, the public sphere and politics.
