Benny Bowden

Benny Bowden

My name is Benny Bowden and I'm from El Dorado, Kansas. I'm a senior Recording major with a Business minor here at Emporia State University! I'm not sure what I want to do when I graduate, but I would love if it could involve music. In my four years here, I have experienced so much and I've had the opportunity to meet tons of people who have truly changed my life. Unsurprisingly, almost all of these memories have been made outside of the classroom. I love hearing about the ways Emporia State has impacted other students and it's my passion to help even more students find that important piece of their college career!

Josh Wallace

Josh Wallace

My name is Josh Wallace and I'm from Kansas City, Kansas. I'm a Communication major here at Emporia State University and I'm loving every minute of it! I hope to one day be a news broadcaster for a major television station. The reason I love helping other students and enjoy it so much is because I see so much potiental in everyone I meet here at ESU, and I want to help students reach that potiental. I have had so many great opportunities here on campus and I would like to help the new Emporia State generation have some too. I truly believe this is one of the premiere universities in the country and am proud to say I'm a Hornet!

Karson Wilson

Karson Wilson

Hello there! My name is Karson Wilson and I'm from Harrisonville, Missouri. I'm a Marketing major here at Emporia State University. Being in the School of Business provided me with an internship this past summer with a semi-professional hockey team called the Missouri Mavericks. I am having so much fun being involved, getting to know new people, and trying new things here on campus, and I want to help everyone enjoy their time here as well! I want everyone to enjoy being here just as much as I do. I believe opportunities are endless; you just have to know how to find them and that's why I am here to help! Stop by anytime!

I would love to teach kindergarten in a small school like where I grew up. Being involved here on campus at Emporia State University has made my college experience. Becca White

My name is Becca White and I am from Lenexa, Kansas. I am an Elementary Education major with a minor in Spanish here at Emporia State University. My dream is to be a first grade teacher with a cute little classroom and a bunch of sweet students. I do not know what I would be doing right now if I had not decided to get involved my freshman year. My hope is that everyone has the same great experience I have had and I truly believe it all starts with getting involved. The choice is yours to get involved, but I would not make any other. I am proud to be involved in the Hornet life here at Emporia State University!

Samantha Beye

My name is Sam Beye. I grew up in Herington, KS, a small town about an hour away from Emporia. I came to Emporia State University because I wanted to go to a school that not all of my high school classmates were going to. I earned my undergraduate degree in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations from ESU in May of 2011. I am currently working toward my graduate’s degree in School Counseling and taking extra courses to become a Licensed Professional Counselor as well. I have been involved with ESU Ambassadors, Student Homecoming Committee, Alternative Spring Break, Community Hornets, Associated Student Government, and Union Activities Council. I have worked in the Center for Student Involvement for four years, so I would love to hook you up with the great opportunities that I have had and help you find your own place in student involvement here at Emporia State. Go Hornets!
