A number of generous organizations in the Emporia area and donors to Emporia State University have made it possible for the Office of Student Accessibility and Support Services to offer scholarships for “eligible students with disabilities.” The intent of the scholarships are to help support your learning and help you benefit from the education you receive at ESU.
Each scholarship has specific eligibility requirements. Please read the requirements carefully and only apply for those scholarships for which you are fully qualified. If you need accommodations to participate in the application process, please contact the Office of Student Accessibility and Support Services at 620-341-6637(Voice), email firstname.lastname@example.org or stop by the front desk in Plumb Hall room 106 and schedule an appointment for assistance.
Scholarship awards will be made by a committee in the spring semester for the following academic year. The amounts of all awards will be directly related to the amount available at the time awards are made. All annual awards are divided equally between the fall and spring semesters of the upcoming academic year. In the event a student receives an award and does not attend ESU for all of the period of time covered by the scholarship award, the award will not be given for the time not enrolled.
