Physical Science, Chemistry Concentration

Concentration, Master of Science

ESU offers graduate study in chemistry. All studies are available on campus. Program variations may be tailored to emphasize biochemistry/biotechnology, environmental chemistry or chemistry education in addition to a more traditional chemistry curriculum.

Physical Science, Physics Concentration

Concentration, Master of Science

The MS in Physical Science with Physics Concentration offers study of the relationship between matter and energy. This concentration is designed to serve the needs of those planning to advance in a teaching career, enter industrial or governmental work, or continue graduate education at the doctoral level. Students benefit from small classes, a student-oriented faculty, research opportunities, and a flexible curriculum.

Physical Science, Earth Science Concentration

Concentration, Master of Science

The MS in Physical Sciences, Earth Science Concentration is available entirely online. Students may select courses and research topics in geology, physical geography, environmental science, paleontology, remote sensing, geographic information systems, meteorology/climatology, hydrogeology or other areas of earth science.

Physical Science, Physical Science Concentration (Teaching)

Concentration, Master of Science

The physical science concentration is designed to provide graduate work to enhance the chemistry, earth/space science, physics and/or physical science background of a licensed teacher.

Geospatial Analysis

Certificate Program

The Geospatial Analysis certificate program is a collection of courses designed to provide training and competency in geographic information systems, remote sensing, global positioning system (GPS), and related technologies. The GSA graduate certificate may exist either within or independent of traditional graduate majors.
