Department of Mathematics & Economics Scholarships

Over $50,000 in scholarships available each year

Each year more than $50,000 in departmental scholarships is available to our students from 12 funds. More than 90 percent of qualified applicants receive one or more of these scholarships. They usually cover 10-25 percent of in-state tuition for our students.

Mathematics and Economics students have also been successful in receiving the esteemed Shepherd Scholarship and Endly Scholarship from ESU.

Incoming Students:

As an incoming freshman or transfer student, you may be eligible to become a Huntley or Simpson Scholar. These renewable scholarships range from $500 to $2,000. They can be stacked with the ESU Presidential Scholarship. Please note that scholarship eligibility requires a cumulative high school GPA of at least 3.75. Scholarships are renewable if you maintain a 3.5 GPA while at ESU and a major in the department.

Additional Scholarships:
