Program description:

The Bachelor of Science in Education-Mathematics allows students to be licensed teachers of mathematics in grades 5-8 or 6-12. These programs will prepare students to excel in their teaching career with hands-on learning experiences in and out of the classroom.

How do you become a math teacher through ESU?

The teacher education program available for students wanting to teach at the middle level (grades 5-8) or secondary level (grades 6-12) is a joint responsibility of this department and the department overseeing middle and secondary education. There are three options for becoming a mathematics teacher. For complete course requirements on becoming a
