Leaders in classroom innovation
Why consider studying Mathematics and Economics at ESU? Excellence. Our graduates have gone on to work as the Minister of Finance for Paraguay; Assistant Vice President at Armed Forces Insurance; Principal Biostatistician at Everest Clinical Research; Data Scientist Manager at Visa; Actuarial Analyst at AmTrust North America; Mathematics teachers at high schools and middle schools across Kansas; Associate Professor of Agricultural Economics at Purdue University; and the Paul W. Horn Professorship of Mathematics at Texas Tech University. For more information about our alumni, check out our Alumni Spotlight page.
Our faculty are among the most active in the region in bringing technology into the classroom, including the use of virtual reality, a lightboard, 3D printing, and project-based learning. They've also won more Teaching Awards in the past decade from the Kansas Section of the Mathematical Association of America than any other university in Kansas.
