Music, Education Concentration

Master of Music, Concentration

This concentration is designed to help the music educator advance his or her professional goals. Since almost all of the coursework is delivered online, this program is especially suited to students who are currently employed as music teachers and wish to pursue the degree while continuing in their teaching position.

Music, Performance Concentration

Master of Music, Concentration

This concentration is built around advanced study of your primary instrument, along with courses in music history, music theory, and introductory research. In addition to private studio instruction, you also receive training in the pedagogy of your specific instrument. A graduate recital is required as the culminating capstone experience. Specializations include instrumental or vocal concentrations. Offered on campus.

The Music Performance Certificate provides additional specialized study within specific music application areas. Offered on campus.

Piano Pedagogy

Certificate Program

This 12 credit hour certificate program provides additional specialized study within piano pedagogy. Offered on campus.

International Student Music Performance

Certificate Program

This certificate is designed to provide international graduate students with an opportunity to study music and further develop English skills in the United States.
