This program provides a broad overview of the journalism field with courses related to reporting, publication, editing, history, and journalistic ethics.

What can you do with this minor?

Students minoring in Journalism can use the skills learned to pursue careers in public relations, photojournalism, reporting, editing, corporate communication, health communication, multimedia journalism, electronic media, copywriting, publishing, and or further their education with post-baccalaureate work.
