Department of Biological Sciences Student Organizations
Many students join at least one of these organizations and some students become involved with several. This is an excellent opportunity to become involved with students who share your interests and to interact with fellow students and faculty outside the classroom. All of the organizations are quite active and together provide a very diverse set of activities and projects.
Biology Club is open to all students who have an interest in Biology.
Caduceus is open to all individuals who are interested in future careers in health-related fields.
Beta Beta Beta
Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) is an honor society for students dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research. Eligibility requirements for the Delta Kappa Chapter of TriBeta at ESU are as follows: a sophomore or upper division student in a biology-related field (e.g. Biology, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Biology Education, Health), who has completed at least three biology courses with at least a 3.0 GPA (overall, and in biology coursework), and who is involved in at least one other biology-related student organization on campus. OBGS is open to graduate students with an interest in biology.
ESU Student Chapter of The Wildlife Society
The Wildlife Society is open to all students who have an interest in fisheries or wildlife.
