Hayes Lecture 2016

After rechartering the organization in 2012, the Emporia State University chapter of Blue Key Honor Society has worked fervently to re-create the quality of leadership and service that our membership has historically been devoted to. In order to do so, we have committed to annual recognition of campus leaders and their contributions as well as the development of new leadership initiatives that instill the best values into students of the University. These include:

  • Hayes Lecture Series, an annual alumni-sponsored event which welcomes back notable alumni, encourages students to pursue leadership throughout their lives, and provides scholarship opportunities to attendees and notable campus leaders. For more information on the Hayes Lecture, please contact the Hayes Co-Chairs Megan Hilbish at or Isaiah Wattree at
  • I ♥ ESU, a new week of events dedicated to the spirit of scholarship, leadership, and service at Emporia State University. Blue Key is launching the series of events during the week of February 12-16. For more information, contact our Leadership Co-chairs, Kevin Sandoval at or Steven Fox at
