Business Administration Scholarships

Award Process

Unless specified by an application link, scholarships awarded by the School of Business are based on student merit and donor criteria. There is no application process. The scholarship committee, which is made up of School of Business faculty and staff will decide on the designation of the awards. This process begins every spring for the fall semester. 

To be eligible for consideration for scholarships, students must be admitted to the university, have submitted transcripts,  GPA and ACT scores along with declaring a major field of study. 

Business Faculty Scholarship

Recipients of this scholarship are to be majoring in business and who have demonstrated an outstanding academic record. 

Business, Leadership and Service Scholarship

Funded by graduates of Emporia State University, recipients of this scholarship are to be majoring in Business at ESU who have demonstrated leadership through service to others within the community.

Goertz-Hubert Family 

First preference for recipients of this scholarship are students who are business majors, currently members of Chi Omega Sorority, and have at least sophomore standing with a GPA of at least 3.0. If a member of Chi Omega Sorority does not qualify, the second preference is for a business major who is a member of another Greek Organization on campus.

Reeble Foundation Business Scholarship

The Reeble family has enjoyed a long association with the Emporia community. Mr. Reeble received a BSB from Emporia State in 1937 and Mrs. Reeble is a post-graduate student. Recipients must be majoring in the School of Business with preference given to students having financial need. There is at least one scholarship for a freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior and possibly a graduate student who is a graduate of a Kansas high school.

Thomas Scholarship Fund

The Thomas Family Scholarship was established to support a belief in the importance of higher education and to provide an education opportunity to students. This belief stems from a strong heritage of family commitment to education. Four generations of the Thomas family have graduated from Emporia State. Eligible recipients are high school graduating seniors from USD #252 (Hartford, Neosho Rapids, or Olpe, Kansas who are majoring in business.
