Student Emergency Scholarship
The Student Foundation Emergency Scholarship is available to help students who experience emergent circumstances (examples include: loss of employment resulting in loss of income, unexpected medical expenses, and other unforeseen financial crises deemed as emergent). Students much submit a statement of need in order to be considered for an award. Emergency funds are limited and awarded based upon emergent need. This scholarship may only be awarded once during a student’s time at Emporia State University. Awarded funds must be used to continue education at Emporia State University.
Eligibility (All must be met to be considered)
- Must be a full-time at Emporia State University (12 hours for undergraduate students, 9 hours or more for graduate students)
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 for undergraduate or 3.0 for graduate students
- Must provide statement of need with application and show emergent need
- Must have applied and exhausted all other financial support through the Office of Financial Aid
This scholarship may only be awarded once during a student’s time at Emporia State University.
