Read for the Record

by Zeni Colorado

The Flint Hills Chapter will once again partictipate in the annual Read for the Record Campaign on Thursday, October 7, 2010. According to the PDK International Website, “The annual Read for the Record campaign encourages teens and adults to read with young children. By encouraging a single, common day of reading engagement where participants read the same book, Jumpstart attempts each year to set a new world record and raise awareness about the importance of early childhood education. “
