| New Faculty Welcome Reception | |
The PDK Flint Hills Chapter welcomed new faculty of Emporia State University(ESU) at a reception on August 31, 2010. The purpose of the reception was to welcome new faculty as well as give them an opportunity to meet and network with current faculty. Andrew Smith, a new faculty member in the School of Library and Information Management said, “It was nice to be welcomed in a more relaxed way, and I certainly appreciate the fact that it was not during the first two weeks of the semester. I had some very productive conversations, so it was well worth while. “
