2006 FHR Nonfiction Winner

Ellen Herbert

Ellen Herbert’s fiction has won a PEN Fiction Prize and a Virginia Fiction Fellowship, and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.  Her essays have appeared in The Sonora Review, Alimentum, and The Rambler.  She teaches creative writing and composition at Marymount University and creative nonfiction at the Writer’s Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
