83rd Annual Riggs Reunion

There will be a dinner (each family at their own expense) at 6:00 P.M. at Timberline, 8310 East 21st Street, Wichita, for Saturday, July 30th. We need a reservation for this by July 17th , so we can notify the restaurant of a count.

Burns Community Center, Burns, KS Open 10:00 – Coffee, Juice and Donuts
Visiting, Pictures, Scrapbooks, Family History, Family Tree --- Anything you would like to share with other family members. Bring your computer, printer, scanner, paper, etc.
Basket dinner at 1 PM with business meeting to follow. Please bring your own table service.

Points of Interest:

There is a map in the new Riggs’ Directory with many of our family’s historical places. Directories are now available. They will be at the reunion or will be mailed to you upon your order. Directories are $3.00 each.

We have printed a family cookbook with the recipes that you submitted to us. These are, also, now available for mailing or can be obtained at the reunion. Cookbooks are $8.00 each; however, if you want both the Directory and the Cookbook, the set is $10.00. Please include an additional $3.00 for each set to cover the postage if the order is to be mailed.

We will try to have The Burns Museum open at the old grade school on Sunday. There are many items there from family members.

Because the cost of postage has gone up again and we still owe for printing the cookbooks and directories, your officers decided not to do a USPO mailing for this year’s reunion. Please notify all your relatives who do not have an email address of this year’s reunion and the Saturday night supper.
