Part 2 - Sending pages to the serverIn order for your pages to be viewed through a Web browser, you need to send the files from your computer to our server. This is done through FTP - File Transfer Protocol; this is also referred to publishing, posting, loading among other things. You must have an account on the web server in order to publish web pages. You will have a userid and a password for this account which may be different from the userid and password you use to logon to the ESU network. Since the ESU web community uses a variety of web page editing programs which each have their own unique ways of getting web pages sent to a server, instructions may be different.
