Counselor Education Programs
The Department of Counselor Education offers one undergraduate program - Rehabilitation Services Education - and four graduate programs - Art Therapy, Clinical Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, and School Counseling. Specific information regarding each program is provided below.

Art Therapy Counseling and
This collaborative endeavor between the two programs is designed to allow students to achieve two degrees within three years of study. Through completing a three-year curriculum, students will recieve both a Master of Science in Art Therapy Counseling AND the Master of Science in Clinical Counseling.

Community Counseling Services
Community Counseling Services (CCS) provides affordable counseling for individuals, couples, families, and groups in a professional, quiet, and confidential setting for residents of Emporia and surrounding communities. Services are provided by advanced graduate students in training under the supervision of experienced faculty with counseling, research, and supervisory expertise
We have several scholarships for students seeking degrees from the Department of Counselor Education.
School Counselor Center
The School Counselor Center assists school counselors with various needs, from consulting on any subject related to school counseling to providing crises consulting on-site or via technology services. A major component of the center is a library of current materials to have readily available to school counselors for a small shipping and handling fee. Items may be checked out for four weeks or less.
