Wireless Internet Access
Emporia State provides wireless computer access in many areas of the campus. ESU’s wireless network is a connectionless computing network that allows authorized ESU users, when equipped with a compatible network device, to access university computing resources and the Internet without a physical connection to any campus wiring. These areas are known as “ESU Wireless Zones.”
Look for the ESU Wireless Zone placards in the commons areas of most buildings on campus.
For instructions on configuring your computer for the ESU Wireless network, please follow the instructions located at techsite.emporia.edu.
Guest Access Availability
Technology & Computing Services can provide ESU departments with temporary wireless guest access for events such as conferences and conventions. Wireless guest access is available in limited areas on the Emporia State campus. Wireless guest access must be requested at least 48 hours in advance and can only be requested for University functions. Wireless guest access must be approved and configured per instance of use. For more information, or to request wireless guest access in your area, please contact the TCS Helpdesk (x5555).
