Video Production

Digital video production services are available on a scheduled basis. For best availability, be sure to schedule in well in advance. Services available include the use of single or multiple cameras and may be arranged for:

Academic events and conferences
Music events
Athletic events

Streaming Video

The Video Services office manages Streaming Server Administration. In addition to managing the streaming server, professional video editing and consultation is available for live streaming events and other video production.

Media Duplication

Media duplication support is available on a limited basis. These services are not available for personal projects, including duplicating personal VHS tapes, copying tapes to DVD/CD, and similar personal services. (Contact the Printing Services department for more information about these duplications.) Considering these guidelines, Video Services can duplicate the following non-personal items, within the laws of copyright:

VHS
S-VHS
Digital Video
Audio Tapes
CDs and DVDs

ESUtv8

ESU’s local access channel, channel 8, is broadcast through Cable One of Emporia. Televised services now include a new service – the ResearchChannel. ResearchChannel was founded by a consortium of leading research and academic institutions to share the valuable work of their research with the public. ResearchChannel is now available to more than 30 million U.S. satellite and cable television subscribers; their Web site is visited by more than 1.6 million visitors each year.

ESUtv on cable Channel 8 preempts the ResearchChannel daily from 7:00-8:00 am, 12:00-1:00 pm, and 5:00-6:00pm to provide Emporia State University, USD253, and community event content each day. Public service announcements are provided only for non-profit organizations and/or activities and functions. ESUtv reserves the right to preempt any and all programming.
