Training
Academic Technologies offers instruction to faculty and staff on a number of training topics, including Blackboard, CPS, desktop productivity (Office tools), Camtasia Studio, the Wimba classroom, and more. We strive to deliver training content that is timely, understandable, and transferrable, always with a goal of having our learners able to apply the information outside our classrooms.
Our facilities include:
- Visser 110, which seats 18;
- Visser 111, which seats 23 and can be used as a distance-conferencing site;
- Visser 109, which seats 6 for training
- Your office or workspace! Watch for instructional courses offered via Adobe Connect Pro.
Announcements for training are made available via a Buzz In announcement the week prior to training, but you can always check the training schedule at the TCS Techsite. Once logged in to the area, select the Training tab from the top menu bar. If you're unable to enroll for a session, have questions about session content, or want to arrange for the delivery of training in your area (department meeting, etc.), call (x5525) or e-mail Nancy England.
