Smart Classroom Locations

Smart classroom equipment is normally located in podium located at the front of the classroom. All equipment, including the overhead projector, is operated from within the podium or using a remote control. Please DO NOT touch the projector itself. To operate the projector, locate and turn on the power switch on the face of the computer’s hard drive and also the switcher, located on the top of the podium cabinet. Please be sure to power down the equipment, close the doors, and lock the cabinet when you have finished.

Choose PC1 (the screen will display your monitor), VCR/DVD (to play prerecorded video materials), DOC (to use the ELMO document camera), or other appropriate option on the front of the switcher or from the remote. Note: Rooms designated with an asterisk (*) are also equipped with a touch-screen control system.
