Zoomerang Surveys

Academic Technologies can help you design, create, and deploy surveys for use as an evaluation tool, to conduct elections, and to collect research data and for committee reporting. Online surveys by Zoomerang allow you to "create powerful online surveys with advanced reporting, PowerPoint charts, skip logic, custom branding, and more" (Zoomerang). At Emporia State University, TCS conducts end-of-semester evaluations for for some distance learning programs using Zoomerang.

The advanced survey features built in to Zoomerang Professional allow users to filter data by date, question, and respondent. Once collected, data may be filtered in a number of ways. and may then be exported to .csv or .xls(x) file formats that are uploadable by statistical software programs such as SPSS.

Need a small survey (fewer than 100 potential respondents)? Zoomerang also offers a free subscription service. Create an account and you're on your way. A competitor, Survey Monkey, also offers a free service for smaller survey sizes.

Bubble Sheet Scanning

Another of our services is scanning and scoring bubblesheets. This process uses an OPSCAN optical scanner. Usually, the documents (tests, evaluations, etc.) are printed by Scantron. Some types of scanning services we provide are:

Test scoring, including statistical analysis
Course evaluations
"On paper" surveys
