Our diverse student population enjoys and benefits from the on-campus living experience at Emporia State University. The residence halls offer a variety of room types, ranging from one to four occupants, as well as study and lounge areas, recreational equipment, high-speed internet, and other conveniences that create a positive atmosphere for living and learning. Residents have the opportunity to participate in, and even organize, activities and events for their floor and housing complex.
Housing for upperclass students is located in the Morse Complex, which is just a short distance from academic buildings, the dining hall, the library, and downtown Emporia. Upperclass housing provides a supportive, on-campus living environment for students who appreciate the convenience, community and events planed by our residence hall staff and student-led Morse Activities Council.
Housing for first-year students is located in the Towers Complex. Our highly-trained staff assists residents with their transition to college and coordinates events and activities specially designed with the first-year student in mind. Residents of the Towers Complex may also elect to reside within a Residential Learning Community, which allow freshmen with similar interests to live on the same floor, participate in activities together that focus on those interests, and develop relationships that will last a lifetime.
