Welcome, Hornets!

On behalf of the Associated Student Government (ASG), welcome to a very buzzin' 2012-2013 academic year! We designed this exquisite welcome note to prerpare you for an upcoming year filled with countless opportunities and experiences.

Whether this is your first year attending Emporia State University or you are a seasoned Hornet, we hope you are able to find and pursue your goals here! Our university and our community offer a plethora of opportunities to foster your passions and ambitions. These include over 130 recognzied student organizations you may become involved in, numerous community service possibilities and a variety of events and programs -- all which cater to YOUR needs.

Associated Student Government is yet another organization whose sole purpose is to serve YOU, the student, in whatever way possible by providing services and by representing and advocating for your needs here on campus and throughout the state.

 Members of ASG are more than willing to assist you. We are located in the Memorial Union Center for Student Involvement, and may also be reached by phone at 341-5481 or by email.  We encourage you to ask questions, voice your concerns, and to share your ideas.
