Work Schedule: [Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri] - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Duties:  Perform installation of equipment to support physical infrastructure including, but not limited to, equipment racks, overhead ladders, cable troughs, etc.  Perform installation and termination of fiber optic cabling and pigtails, including fusion splicing of fiber to fiber optic pigtails and runs, as needed  Perform installation and termination of copper and fiber optic distribution patch panels  Perform add/move/changes related to both voice and data cabling infrastructure  Test installed cabling using electrical and optical test equipment  Perform underground locates when required by university or with external contractors  Assist with installations necessary in support of security card access system
Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to work on a ladder and lift up to 50 lbs from the ground to a truck bed.
