Pharmacy Services
Pharmacy Services began in 1992 to offer students a low-cost source for their prescription needs and some over-the-counter items. These medications meet most of the needs of our students; we can also order special items on request. We are not a retail pharmacy with a pharmacist, we are a dispensary operated under our physician's authority. We have an "Institutional Drug Room" license from the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy that allows us to dispense medications in this way.
During a clinic visit the nurse practitioner will order medications if necessary, which may be paid for at check-out along with any other charges (lab, etc). If refills are authorized, these may be obtained by calling the refill request line at 620-341-5867 the day before you wish to pick it up.
