How Do I Make an Appointment?
You can make an appointment by calling us at (620) 341-5221 or stop by the Center, 211 South Morse Hall. When you call, just tell the office staff you would like to see a counselor. They will look at the counselors’ schedules and pick the most convenient time available.
Emergencies:
If you are in an emergency situation or are considering suicide, please let the office staff know that you need to see a counselor as soon as possible. The Counseling Center is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
If you need services after regular office hours, call the Mental Health Center of East Central Kansas emergency number at 620-343-2211, the Emporia State University Police and Safety office at 620-341-5337 or seek out a member of the Residence Hall staff (a residence assistant or hall director) if you live on campus.
