The Biofeedback Center teaches students many techniques for stress management and reduction. Hand warming is taught which is intentional relaxation using deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, and guided imagery to one's unique special place. Peak Performance is also taught using the Heartmath computer program and the principal of appreciation. These techniques can help with relaxation, mindfulness, reduction of test anxiety, general relaxation training and insomnia. The Biofeedback Center also has information on study skills, test taking tips, time management, healthy relationships and eating disorders.
