Club Dialectic, the student philosophy club, provides a forum for reflection on and dialogue about the perennial questions of meaning and value that underlie and guide our lives; encourages awareness about the range and diversity of answers that have been proposed in different times and cultures to these basic human questions; and promotes the application of philosophical reflection to practical issues that confront ourselves and our community. All students are welcome to join as members or participate in any club event.

Regular club activities include Movie Nights (accompanied by pizza and interesting discussion); field trips to events at surrounding universities; and guest speakers--philosophers or others who have a perspective we are interested in hearing more about. If you have ideas or suggestions for these or other events, please let us know!
