2004 Social Science Department Awards Ceremony
The 2003-2004 Awards Ceremony of the Emporia State University Department of Social Sciences was held in Plumb Hall on Friday, May 7, 2004. Numerous Social Sciences students and majors, along with their friends and family, joined us for this event. Our awards ceremony recognized inductees in Pi Gamma Mu and Phi Alpha Theta honorary societies, majors in the department who have received notable university and community awards, and winners of 2003-2004 Social Sciences Departmental Awards. Awards presented included the Outstanding Senior in Social Sciences, Outstanding Geography Student, Outstanding History Undergraduate and Graduate Students, Outstanding Philosophy Student, Best Political Science Paper, Outstanding Student Teacher, and Future Teacher Strive Award.
