MINOR IN SOCIOLOGY

The minor in sociology is designed for students from other disciplines who are interested in learning about the wide range of topics studied by sociologists. These topics include, but are not limited to, social institutions (family, education, religion, medicine, and government), culture (values, norms, symbols), social problems (crime, juvenile delinquency, poverty, and discrimination), and global issues (environmentalism, terrorism, and migration).
