Minor in Anthropology

A minor in Anthropology consists of 18 hours of Anthropology coursework. A minimum of 9 hours must be completed at Emporia State University. Required courses for the minor are as follows:

  Elective One 3-hour non-anthropology upper division elective with advisor's approval

The remaining 9 hours are elective and must be 300 or above AN courses. No more than 3 hours of AN 471 Independent Study may be counted as an elective. All independent study hours need the approval of the instructor.
