A minor in Sociology consists of Sociology coursework. A minimum of 9 hours must be completed at Emporia State University. Required courses for the minor are as follows:

The remaining 12 hours are elective and must be 300 or above courses. No more than 3 hours of SO 471 Independent Study may be counted as an elective. All independent study hours need the approval of the instructor.
