Emporia State University’s Master of Education in Teaching helps teachers, library/media specialists, and school counselors develop their skills and knowledge of teaching. The Master of Education in Teaching degree does not lead to a teaching license or any additional endorsements to a license. This program is designed to help you become a teacher of excellence. The Master of Education in Teaching is a 36 credit hour program which can be completed online. It is for any teacher who wants to obtain a masters in education. For individuals who are in the Alternate Route Program at Emporia State University, the 21 credits earned in that program all count toward the 36 hours needed for this degree.
