Science Education

ESU offers the ability to earn licensure in three areas of the physical sciences. The programs are designed to satisfy licensure requirements to teach in the secondary schools of Kansas in the fields of physical science, chemistry, physics, and/or earth-space science. You may also earn a degree in Middle School Science (Science Grades 5-8).

Quick Facts

  • In order to earn the B.S.E. degree with a major in Physical Sciences from the Departments of Physical Sciences, the student must satisfy three sets of requirements: the University General Education Requirements, Professional Education requirements, and Teaching Field certification requirements.
