Are you interested in a career in agriculture? Our Pre-Agriculture program will provide you with several options for a career, ranging from animal science to resource management. Emporia State University offers you multiple learning opportunities in this area, including part-time employment in agriculture-related areas to prepare you for full-time employment. You will also have excellent academic preparation should you decide to pursue additional study in agriculture or related fields.   • This degree is offered as a pre-professional degree through the Biological Sciences department.
  • At the Kansas Academy of Science 2008 Annual Meeting, over half of the student awards went to ESU students!
  • Students have immediate access to professors for one-on-one mentoring. In addition, scholarships, undergraduate assistantships, and on and off campus part-time employment in the area of agriculture may be available.
  • ESU course work is generally acceptable for transfer to colleges or universities offering professional degrees in agriculture.
