Elaine Henrie, Financial Aid Director, moved to the Financial Aid office in 2004
as the Associate Director. Originally she was in employed in the private
sector, where she served as secretary/treasurer of a small construction firm.
She came to higher education first as enrollment supervisor, then as degree
analyst in ESU?s Registration Office.
She is a member of the National Association of Financial Aid Administrators
(NASFAA) and is a member of the regional (RMASFAA) and state (KASFAA)
organizations also. She is chair of KASFAA?s Publicity and Awareness
Committee and has presented for all three organizations. At ESU, Elaine has
been recognized as for outstanding service to the Admissions Office, and has
received the campus PRIDE and Classified Employee of the Year awards.
Providing timely and accurate information about financial aid options for
students and their parents is her number one priority.
