Ron Sasse (BSE’71, MS’73), the director of residence life at Texas A&M University, has a close colleague in the state – Dr. Floyd Hoelting (BA’68, MS’68), the director of the division of housing and food service at the University of Texas-Austin. Both were members of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and consider the late Dr. John Webb as a strong mentor. Despite their employers’ strong athletic rivalries in Texas, Ron and Floyd and their respective staffs work closely on many professional matters. Hoelting is on the left, Sasse on the right.
