In athletics, honors abound

Cassondra Boston and Alex Pyle, named ESU’s Female and Male Athletes of the Year, highlight a long list of accomplishments in ESU athletics in the 2008-09 year. Along with
the baseball team, women’s basketball and volleyball claimed MIAA championships, softball won the MIAA tourney championship, men’s indoor track and field took second in the MIAA while the outdoor men took third, and men’s basketball finished third in a hotly contested league race.
