Homecoming: 10 days and counting
Still like that old time black and gold? If you’re up for a return to Emporia State University, there’s still about 10 days left to plan a trip to Homecoming 2007.

We have events for everyone, like the pre-game Watering Hole at the Milton Tennis Courts, starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20. There’s also the Family Picnic Tent from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on the lawn of the One Room School House – bring the kids and join us for hamburgers and hot dogs!
Check out the Omega Psi Phi events – there’s a reception at 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at the Sauder Alumni Center, and a dance at 9 p.m. Saturday at the Memorial Union’s Hornets Nest.
For the reunion groups – the Fabulous Forties and the Class of 1957 – there are dinners on Saturday evening followed by a swing band concert headlined by the “Kings of Swing” and ESU alumnus Gary Stroud. The swingin’ starts at 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the union’s Colonial Ballroom.
