The Annual FundThe Annual Fund provides for the area of greatest need. The fund strengthens the Foundation in its overall efforts to serve ESU by supporting scholarships, special projects, capital campaign efforts and new programs. These unrestricted gifts provide the flexibility to meet the changing and growing needs of the university.

Black & Gold SocietyThe Society is a new presidential membership organization designed to support scholarships and guide major initiatives on campus while interacting with the ESU president and other leaders. Members participate through a $1,500 annual gift.

Memorial and Honorary Gifts – Gifts to the University Memorial Fund may be made to memorialize friends, teachers, alumni, colleagues, relatives or organizations. The Foundation notifies the next of kin about memorial gifts and the honoree about honorary gifts. Memorials will be recognized on a memorial plaque in the Sauder Alumni Center.

Planned Giving – Planned or deferred gifts to the Foundation include bequests, trusts, life insurance, annuities and gifts of real estate. The Foundation will work with you and your advisors in the planning of this type of gift. The Lyman B. Kellogg Society recognizes all individuals who are making a gift to the university through their estates.

Gifts of Securities – Gifts of stocks, bonds and other securities provide an excellent way to support ESU. In most cases, unique tax savings are available.
