Meeting Minutes - April 3, 2006

Chair – Rob Rogers
- Be thinking about positions returning Ambassadors might want to run for.
- Everyone is getting busy but it is important to stick with tour and event commitments.
- Please spread information to Ambassadors who are absent.
Vice Chair – Katie Hensley
- Getting list of new Ambassadors on Monday after the new ones receive the letter.
- Nominated people for Clay Anderson Award, narrowed down to three candidates.
Secretary – Michelle Powell
- Nothing at this time
Treasurer – Kristy Sutton
- Dates for Telethon: April 11th and 12th , we will be calling Ambassador Alumni in the call center in the Alumni Center to ask for donations using the script.
- Sign up for an hour time slot to call people, we might not need the second night if we get through the list.
- If you can’t get a hold of someone, there will be pledge cards to fill out for everyone you call and we will send letters to those unavailable at the time.
- Go in through back door to get to the call center.
Admissions – Andrea Foltz

Advancement – Laura Myers
- Signed Ambassadors up to help with Career Fair
- Signed Ambassadors up to help with Sheperds Scholar Award Ceremony

Senior Night – Kristen Larson
- Signed Ambassador Volunteers up for Senior Week events!
- Committee mtg. tomorrow
- Please try to be there at 4th Ave. on Thurs. night
- Please talk up Sr. Week and try to get Seniors to participate in all the awesome events!!

New Business
- Officer Elections for all positions will be on April 24th
- May 1st will be last informal mtg. BBQ with all of the new Ambassadors….will announce new officers!
- Retreat Dates: Aug. 11th and 12th (Kanza Room)
- Please take pictures during Senior Week for Scrapbook!
Advisors - Roy Mann
- Please make sure Joan gets copies of the event sheets so that she can make meal count changes.
- Be thinking about the James Hirsch Scholarship for students involved in one or more organization due April 24th.
- Executive Board be thinking of putting something together for incoming new officers to assist them with a training of some sort to guide them through their duties.
