ESU Ambassadors Meetings and Minutes
"I'll never forget my Ambassador experience - giving campus tours, visiting with alumni, and serving with an awesome group of campus leaders!" - Krista Rahija, '94 - '95 |
Ambassador meetings are held every Monday at 5:15 p.m. in Butcher-Boertman Hall at Sauder Alumni Center. Each week the Ambassadors generously volunteer their time, signing up for tours and upcoming events. Important announcements are made and appreciation is shown for the previous week's hard work.
Though Ambassadors have a strong work ethic, they never let an opportunity pass by for their group to bond. Often, Ambassadors will come to meeting dressed in different themes such as "Wierd Hat day," where members wear their favorite or crazy hat, or "Ambassador Cowboy day," in which Ambassadors dress in western attire. The Ambassador who dressed with the most spirit is recognized at the end of the meeting.
Meetings are not the only time the ESU Ambassadors take advantage of having fun. Local restaurants Coach's and Wing's are just a few places members of the organization gather to socialize after the weekly meetings. Not only are Emporia State Ambassadors members of an elite organization, they are making friends that will last a lifetime.
