Emporia State University is special to me.  I am proud to say that in 1991 I was a freshman resident of North Towers.  Living on campus was a true educational experience and as a result I have many fond memories.  While attending this exceptional institution, I have earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and Master of Science in Education Administration.  I am honored to be a Hornet!

Prior to becoming the Director of Residential Life, I was a public school educator.  I taught science classes and coached various sports in the Salina, Auburn-Washburn and Emporia school districts.  Most recently, for four years, I was a principal in the Emporia school system.  Those experiences allowed me to work with a diverse group of people and develop skills that I use on a daily basis. 

Being the Director of Residential Life at ESU is an exciting adventure!  Each day is unique and I regularly have occasion to learn something new.  I am happy to be working with an outstanding Residential Life staff and feel lucky to be a part of an incredible campus community.
