Kayla Smith - Morse Complex Coordinator
I am thrilled to be starting my first year at Emporia State University as the Complex Coordinator for Morse Complex. I did an internship in Residential Life at Emporia State in the summer of 2011 and I knew I needed to return to ESU! The positive energy and ESU pride on the campus and in the Emporia community are impressive.
Prior to this opportunity, I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO. I recently completed my Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS.
In my position, I get to work with students on a daily basis. I supervise the Resident Assistants and Reception Center Assistants in the Morse Complex. As a team, we continually work to meet resident needs and provide a positive community experience for residents
With great excitement, I look forward to what this year holds. You can contact me at ksmith29@emporia.edu.
