Jacob Mendez - Complex Coordinator (Towers Complex)
I am excited to start my second year on the Residential Life team at Emporia State University as a Complex Coordinator in the Tower’s Complex. Last year was an amazing year and I am thrilled to see the new year begin and to see the ESU pride continue.
Previously, I attended Pittsburg State University where I was highly involved as a Resident Assistant, Assistant Residence Hall Director and Residence Hall Assembly President. These experiences allowed me to develop a strong passion for residence hall leadership because of their power to shape a student’s education within their collegiate experience and to enrich their time at the institution.
Recently, I completed my graduate education at Missouri State University with an emphasis in Student Affairs and Higher Education and held an Assistantship with Residence Life, Housing and Dining Services where I was able to work with predominantly first year students and supervise 8 resident assistants.
I am looking forward to seeing what the year has in store. You can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling my office at 620-341-6747.
