I got involved in Residence Life when I became a Resident Assistant in the Spring of my Junior year at Arkansas Tech University. As a transfer student, I wanted to make sure that my residents were able to make a smooth and enjoyable transition into college. After graduating with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, I went on to Missouri State University to serve as an Assistant Hall Director and pursue a Master of Science in Student Affairs in Higher Education.
Throughout graduate school, I co-supervised Resident Assistants, advised Hall Council, and worked primarily with freshman. I grew to love working with first-year students and am beyond excited to continue doing so as one of the Complex Coordinators for Towers at Emporia State University!
As a native of Arkansas, I look forward to exploring Kansas and diving into everything it has to offer! I enjoy meeting new people so please stop by my office anytime near the Towers Reception Center!
