Lakeview Cafeteria
The Lakeview Cafeteria is the main dining facility for residence hall students. It offers continuous service Monday - Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.; and Fridays 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday the cafeteria will be open 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Among its variety of options, you will find a salad bar, fresh pizza (made daily), vegetarian selections, soup station, waffle station, hot sandwich grill, deli bar, and a cook to order pasta display.

Hornet’s Nest
Located on the ground floor of the Memorial Union and in full view of Lake Wooster, you will find a food-court. The Hornet’s Nest offers a variety of dining options. The Hornet’s Nest features Tierra Del Sol (Mexican fare), Café Fresca (the upscale “grab-and-go” venue), Firehouse Grill, and Bistro Siciliano. Enjoy food from the Hornet’s Nest while checking your e-mail or browsing the web in the Cyber Café next door to the Nest. The Hornet’s Nest is open throughout the school year. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday - Thursday and 10:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., on Fridays.
Skyline Dining Room
Overlooking Lake Wooster, the Skyline Dining Room is a buffet style restaurant. The Skyline is open for lunch Monday through Friday and is a traditional gathering spot for University staff, students and guests.

Nectar Convenience Store
Located on the main level of the Memorial Union, the Nectar stocks a variety of hot food, convenience food, and beverage items.
The Hornet Card
The Hornet Card is your official photo identification for ESU. It identifies you, your meal plan, any current funds in your declining balance, works for vending, and/or operates your Lyon County State Bank checking account. For convenience and security, the magnetic stripe on the back of the card allows access to your meal plan and other services. The Hornet Card also allows perimeter door access to your residence hall.
All Access Plan
ESU students have TOTAL access to the Cafeteria from 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., on Fridays, and Saturday and Sunday 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Your schedule is our schedule because you can come and go as often as you like! You will also have the option of 20 meals per semester that can be used in the Hornet’s Nest on an exchange. Our All-Access Plan offers the best value for convenience and flexibility at only $1,374.50 per semester.
15-Block Plan
The ever-popular 15 Block Plan offers 15 meals to use from Friday to Thursday each week. You may use as many meals as you want in the cafeteria for yourself, or for treating family or friends to a meal. You may also use your meal plan in the Hornet’s Nest on meal exchange. The 15 Block Plan total price of $1,342.50 per semester is still a great value.
10-Block Plan
Perfect for the lighter eater, our 10 Block Plan is like the 15 Block Plan, only offering 10 meals a week. Just like the 15 Block Plan you may also use your meal plan in the Hornet’s Nest on meal exchange. The total price of our 10 Block Plan is only $1,153.50 per semester.
7-Block Plan
The 7-Block Plan is not available to traditional first year students. All other students may contract for this $883.50.00 per semester plan. While offering only 7 meals per week, this is like the 15 and 10 block in that you may use your plan in the Hornet’s Nest on meal exchange.
Declining Balance Feature
This plan may enhance any of the four plans listed above but may not stand alone. By depositing at least $25.00 in this account at the University ID Office located in the Memorial Union, you may use the balance at any dining service location. In addition, a 10% discount is offered at the register.
